Dark Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients

Batter

  • 300 grams Sugar 

  • 220 grams Butter

  • Eggs 

  • 200 grams All-purpose Flour

  • ½ Teaspoon Salt

  • 60 grams Cocoa Powder

  • 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract

  • 100 grams Chocolate Chips

  • 300 grams Dark Chocolate chopped

  • 30ml Instant Coffee

1. Browning Butter and Chocolate Batter

1. Add your butter to a sauce pan and put it on the stove. Put the heat to medium. When the butter is melted, add the sugar and instant coffee. Bring your mixture to a boil and take the pan off the stove. Preheat your oven to 180°C.

2. Now add the chocolate to your pan and mix everything together until there are no clumbs left. Let your mixture cool off and add vanilla extract and salt.

3. Fill your mixture into a bowl and mix the eggs into your mixture one by one. Now add flour, cocoa powder and the chocolate chips and fold it gently in. 

2. Baking

1. Fill your batter into a baking dish.

2. Bake for 30 minutes.

3. Enjoy!

Tips

  • Use high quality chocolate for the batter. Make sure that the cocoa percantage is at least 55%

  • To get the best results, use a toothpick to make sure that your brownies are moist: Put the toothpick into the center, if there are a few moist crumbs, your brownies will be fudgy

  • Keep an eye on them during the last few minutes in the oven. Brownies continue to cook slightly after being removed from the oven
